Which external battery charger do you recommend. I am talking about the ones that are basically batteries that are 4X or so the normal battery power and charge your battery as you are using them.

Ahh so someone else other than me thinking about getting a external battery as well.
My droid 4 battery: 1785 mAh. I suppose an external battery with 1800 mAh or higher should be good.

nice thread! anyone ever try or look into those solar powered battery chargers? i seen a commercial on them and it looked pretty interesting. Although it would only work during the day. and might be a pain tin the butt to carry around, just a thought
I too have wondered about solar chargers while looking on ebay. What's not good is they take longer time to charge.. 10 hours or longer when a regular charger could do much less (1-5hours) depending on the product's battery and the sun.Originally Posted by cherrywine

ahoy ladds,
having a portable charger in your backpack is a life saver for sure. the thing is all batteries die eventually. so for basic city use, 10000-12000mAh charger sounds like an expensive choice imo. portable chargers with replaceable batteries maybe a better choice.
my humble opinion.
p.s. : i couldn't find a charger for my droid 4 either. please advise..
