And while you "may" not see an improvement in your battery life.. I saw and continue to see a drastic improvement in my maxx's by powering off and charging to 100%.. I see big improvements over charging while powered on. Ymmv

Did the two day calibration and I am already down to 70% after 3 hours. I'm perplexed.:/

Here is my info so far. I was able to get 9 hours of battery until I hit 50%. And this is with Juice Defender. I did the calibration. What is going on?!

First things I notice are large sections of network signal being low. This will cause huge drain on the battery.

Also, how are you charging? I only see a short blip of green on the battery levels which indicates a very short period where you used an AC wall adapter. The rest of the battery voltage increase seems to happen over a LONG period of time, like if it were connected to a low current USB connection.

Yeah it makes a huge difference, i loved the ability to charge externally and swap out for a full charge whenever i wanted, win some and lose some hehe.

I charge with the wall charger that came with the Razr. I installed that battery tracking app after I unplugged it this morning and did a quick charge from 70 to 100% (1.5 hours charge) before I went to to work so that may explain the lack of green in the graphs.
EDIT: The gradual voltage increase was probably when I was charging it and use it at the same time until I decided to shut it off and let it fully charge again for an hour hence the small green blip.
Also how can you tell my signal is bad? How is it color coded in the history screen? Does yellow indicate a bad signal as oppose to green being a good signal? Could the signal be the culprit? I am in a mix 4g/3g area.

OK, so the lack of the Green charging periods makes sense. For me, when I charge at night I see it increase over a relatively short period of time, and it shows as Green during the entire period

And yes, the color indicates the signal strength in that bar. You'll notice you only have a short blip of Green in that bar, and it's nearly all yellow. This indicates the phone is using more power to keep a connection with a more distant tower, or is trying to maintain a 4G signal that may also be weak. Have you tried going to 3G only?

I am either in or near Philadelphia, PA during all of my time. I work in Philadelphia, and live in a Suburb about 15 miles due West. In the entire region where I travel, I have nearly 4 or 5 bars of signal all the time, and nearly always that's 4 or 5 of 4G, so my phone doesn't have to work hard to maintain a signal.

    Excuse me:
I am mistaking. I installed the battery tracking app last night so that gradual increase was the full charge I did overnight (it was off and I used an AC wall charger provided to me with the Razr). I unplugged it around 1030 in the morning and turned it on where it immediately drained to 70% in three hours. I first plugged it back in to the charger on until I decided to shut if off and let it charge back to 100% around 230 and I unplugged and turned it back on.

    How would I go 3g only? System setting>Mobile Networks>Network Mode>LTE/CDMA Only?
