Been using it for a week now, it is a solid ROM and shows much promise. Only issue for me is that VZW Visual Voicemail doesn't work on it, and I cannot seem to install a working version at all. ...
Literally just got it working, thanks!
Now we just have to wait for a decent ROM to come out for this phone. Any suggestions?
Which tool do you recommend? My manual attempts are not working. Whenever I try to reboot to recovery I get the android character with the red exclamation.
Awesome, thanks!
Rooted and bootloader is unlocked, although I can't seem to get a custom recovery like TWRP installed. Trying to figure that part out, and once I do, I can go find a decent ROM.
And Safestrap requires Root, which I do not have and cannot get.
Yeah, but again, my phone is not rooted, and I don't want to have multiple ROMs installed, taking up space, etc... It is sorta like having a PC and having to dual or triple boot Windows, Linux, OSX...
Yeah, but saying "don't take the update" 3 weeks after everyone took the update, doesn't help me much. LOL
We all jump on updates as fast as they come out, and once taken, most of them cannot be...
So if we are on the latest OTA(4.1.2) and it is not rooted, we are out of luck?
That's the problem with this phone, by the time they find an exploit, most people have taken OTA's and updates...
It's cool, but it is more of a customization phone OS than a tablet OS like SmoothROM, AOKP, etc...
Runs fine on my N7, nothing but crashes and lockups on the Razr HD. The irony is that the Razr HD is locked, unrooted and bone stock, while the N7 is unlocked, rooted, custom ROM and kernel,...
I have been running this update for about 2 weeks now, and I see no difference at all in performance or battery life. I can't even tell what might be new or improved. This phone could have been...
Yeah, this popped up and installed on both of our phones a week or so ago. Not much changed to be honest.
Great concept but the reality is that it doesn't work that well and is more of a gimick than it is useful.
HTC is simply trying to get their name in the spotlight and using Samsung to do it. It's like when some no-talent local radio show attacks Howard Stern, hoping that Howard will go after them on the...
I am telling you, this push to move away from SD cards is led by the carriers. They got rid of Unlimited for a reason. They knew that most Unlimited users didn't use all that much data, so if I...
Multi-user support on a tablet, might make sense. But on a phone?
Useless and pointless.
Give us SD cards, let *me* decide how much memory I need.
But it could prompt a lot of people to increase their data tier.
Let's say that pushing cloud storage over local storage causes just 10,000 users to increase their data plan by a measly $10.
...
I wonder if the carriers have anything to do with this trend of not having SD cards. The carriers want you to use cloud storage now that they got rid of unlimited data. Us streaming all of our...
Well, we shall see...
It will end at some point. VZW is making money hand over fist from tiered plans. You are out of contract, which means that they no longer have to honor your Unlimited plan. At the moment that some...
Again, all of this indicates that their primary goal is to lobby and purchase legislation that makes it harder for the competition to gain traction. This isn't about recovering subsidies, or...
I want to see this ported to the Nexus 7. Having a true desktop OS on a tablet would rock.
It's coming, rest assured.
You won't be keeping Unlimited Data for long, no matter how much you pay for your phone...
