Syncing with WMP is the only way I've found to easily sync music, not sure why its not working for you. As for gallery, use Quick pic its a million times better and ultra fast.

1. Try a different camera app
2. Clear cache/dalvick

Head over to XDA and try out a few roms first! I don't think it's a hardware problem. Like I said I had this problem on a certain rom a while ago but haven't had it since.

I had this problem randomly on a few ROMS. Sometimes adjusting the screen off time would fix it. Say 30sec- 15 sec

You get used to the size 99% of thr time it works amazing. Its bootloader is unlocked.....im running cleanrom 3.5 and its going awesome. Size wise it fits in all my pants fine even the bit tighter...
