    phone.apk / cyanogenmod / removal

    So I just this past weekend bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. I have installed cyanogenmod 10 on it. I was doing some research on Battery performance and one of things I found talked about removing phone.apk and com.android.phone. Is this suggested? Any insight by anyone that has done this?
