This is how you can delete camera pictures and videos from your Samsung Galaxy S2.
I am sure it will work
- Turn on the Samsung Galaxy S2.
- Open up the Application list.
- Tap My files.
- Select DCIM.
- Tap Camera.
- Tap the Menu button and choose Delete.

Friends phone is in cops hands and they pulled up deleted pics and text messages. Simply pressing delete does not remove the files, just like the recycle bin on a Windows computer doesn't "really" get it gone.
How do i remove data so that law enforcement/anyone else with tools can't get the data? i am not investigated nor do I have illegal info to hide, but want to do my part at keeping my stuff private. Especially if selling this phone to upgrade.![]()
I would think that you would have to overwrite those deleted files with something to make them unrecoverable.
Edit: Look up file shredder in the market. Check out the related apps.
