Junk Email?

I have had the GN2 since November and everything was fine up to two weeks ago. All of a sudden I am getting junk emails and I can't figure out how. I back tracked to some apps I may have downloaded and I deleted them but they still keep coming. Can anybody tell me how to stop them and where they are coming from. I want to call them emails but a star will appear in the Notification bar which when opened will bring you to a web site.

Air pusher is a good app from the play store that will show you what app is causing them.... They are more "junk notifications" then emails.... But Air Pusher will show you what app is pushing them to your device.
