    Work-arounds

My old Macbook Pro (2007) would mount to my Thunderbolt just fine so I could drag and drop files. However, I have a 2012 MBP and it won't allow the Note 2 to mount.
I've tried Keis, but I couldn't get that to work either.

    So, I've found 3 great work-arounds:

    1) WellFTP Server - Turns your Note 2 into an FTP server. You can then fire up FileZilla, or any other FTP client on your Mac, and access all files within your Note 2.
    2) Dropbox - This is an AWESOME cloud app and is free when you use under 2 GB of storage. You can share files between any connected device easily. In fact, you can set up a folder on your Note 2 so that when you take a pic, it automatically syncs to the cloud and will be available on your Mac.
    3) A friend showed me a very fun app called Bump. When 2 phones have bump, you can share files and photos by bumping your hands together. Kind of like the share feature already on the Note 2, but you can do it with any phone, even an iPhone. You can also 'Bump' to your Macbook Pro by bumping the 'space' key. It's pretty darn cool!

Since finding those work-arounds, especially WellFTP Server, I haven't even bothered trying to get Keis to work any more.

    Cheers...
