Impressed with picture quality.

I'm on vacation and and was taking pictures yesterday and last night. I'm pretty impressed with the night time quality of the pictures the Note 2 takes. Haven't seen the pictures displayed on my computer yet, but looking at them on the phone and 10" Asus Transformer Tablet, I think they look pretty good.

I'd have to agree with you. I came from a Bionic, and have also used my 10" Transformer Infinity to capture shots. The Note II's camera easily outperforms that of the Bionic and the tablet, too, IMHO.

I also came from a Bionic. Daytime pictures were great, but pictures in low light werent so good.

Battery life has been awesome as well. Left the hotel room at 9:30 this morning after taking it off the charger and as of 11:00pm, I'm at 37%. And I've been taking a lot of pictures and checking ride wait times here at Disneyland.

I also came from a bionic and the pictures with the Galaxy Note 2 are much better. Both my sons have a iPhone 5 and I do think the iPhone does have better camera.I love the battery on this phone. It last me all day.

Where you guys stabilizing the Note 2 and/or using the low light setting to get those night pics?
I was in Vegas last week and my night pics were only adequate. Certainty not as sharp as those.

I was just holding the phone and using the standard settings (Single Shot). The one thing that I did find that effects the outcome of the pictures the most, day or night is the cleanliness of the lens. I always make sure to wipe the lens with my shirt before taking a picture. I noticed that simply putting the phone back into my pocket after taking a picture, then taking it back out a few minutes later got the lens smudged.
