Go to settings - about phone and you will see an Android version. 4.0._ is Ice Cream Sandwich 4.1_ or 4.2._ is Jellybean. Jellybean is the latest operating system.

12-20-2012 11:42 AMThe latest version for the Note 2 is 4.1.1 I believe, although they have 4.2.x out it's not yet available.
