My cat knocked mine off the arm of the sofa onto the floor. It was in the Seidio Surface case, so no ill effects.

I've read of a few folks that have and they do break the screen frequently. So it is not invincible!!

Here's someone that did drop it (on purpose): (you'll have to watch some other parts of the torture test first though).

The glass does not prevent against scratches at all. My phone slide down on a hardwood floor and the sand particles on the floor caused 3 large scratches on the display.

dropped it face first on a hard dirty gritty tile floor. Had a screen protector on. Screen protector had a huge scratch but screen was ok and scratched the aluminum edge near the bottom. other than that ok and after that put a case on it and will keep it on there.

Went to get mine from at&t. The salesman was snapping the battery cover on, flipped it over and the screen was broken in 3 places.. I'm very glad that it happened before I left the store

Nope... he wasn't strong, didn't hardly touch the phone... and it broke.. probably a flaw in the glass...who knows. Either way, I'm not thrilled..
