We will get it. One way or another we will get it.
God this is such effing BS having to wait an extra month. I swear if the vzw version doesn't have multi window working right out of the box we need to fire-bomb the houses of all the board of directors and CEO

I'm spending quite a bit of time reviewing user experiences on xda. A lot of good info there regarding tweaks and how to's. At least the wait will allow me to know what to expect when I finally have it in hand.
The only good thing about it arriving late on Verizon is that it gives us impulse buyers a chance to test out the Note 2 at an AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, or US Cellular store to get used to the phone and see if it's something we really want before we buy it. I know for me, whenever I say I want to go to Verizon to look at a new phone, I end up buying it that same day, lol.
Speaking of that, I did check out the Note 2 yesterday on T-Mobile and US Cellular. First thing was obviously the speed test, I was able to get around 8-11Mbps down with T-Mobile "4G", and got 12-15Mbps down and 10-13Mbps up on US Cellular LTE. I was really surprised at how small the phone seemed when compared to the Note 1, it was more comfortable to hold and was almost usable with one hand. I don't know if it was just the stylus on this particular device, but I tend to use my pens and pencils at a slight angle, and when I tried using the stylus at an angle I found that only half of the presses and swipes actually registered. When I used the stylus completely vertical, I had very few problems. I also noticed that when taking notes about 90% of the time it did a good job even when I had my palm resting on the screen as I wrote (which is how you write with a pen and paper), but 10% of the time it thought my palm was the pen and marked up the paper.
If I get the Note 2, unfortunately the stylus will just be a gimmick that I may use once and while.
I've spent some quality time at Sprint & T-Mobile.. Haha pretty soon they will escort me out or sign me up..
Never owned the first one but did get to play with it and the new one is definitely comfortable to hold.. I suggest anyone to get to a dealer that has it without it attached to display(t-mobile for me) big difference .. I was able to put in pocket and hold normal.. I think I was there around 2 hrs as it was a slow morning.. I pre-ordered that afternoon when I got home.. My only gripe so far is that 32GB is not available yet.. Didn't stop me though lol

OK. So I went ahead and preordered my Note 2 this morning. It says it will ship by 11-27...... but did anyone see the commercial for it with Lebron James? It was on last night during the VT vs. UM game or the San Diego vs. Kansas city game (I can't remember, I was switching back and forth) Anyway, it said it was "available" at Verizon.
Maybe there is hope for an earlier release. (I'd like to have it before Black Friday while I am in line at Best Buy LOL)
