Let me say the phone is not dell streak embarrassing big but if you felt the s3 was pushing it or you hate using Bluetooth head phones to talk then you may want to pass on this phone. As far as speed it definitely smooth. Smoother than the Maxx hd, honestly it is hard to tell. I am sure if you had them side by side and nitpicked you could see something but for day to day use the extra ram and cores help keep the phone operating smooth. Any one who used a Samsung tablet know how all the features constantly running weighs down the system. So adding more space helps with that. Where as the new blur is clean so no real need for the extra.
Did not mess with camera.
So my verdict is yes this is the phone for me. But if you want simple, easy to hold, every day phone then RAZR HD may be for you. Because with all the features on the note 2 there will be some learning for sure.

Well its the 24th Verizon, where's my Note 2 lol. Maybe it will hit the shelves tomorrow. As far as the HTC, I don't see how this will be anything to great, with a $199.99 price I can't see it being a quad core 1080P

Those aren't launch dates on the list. Notice the initial date for the Galaxy S3 - June 4, 2012. It wasn't actually available until well into July. All the initial dates mean is that the device is expected to launch at some point on or after that. Verizon often has targeted launch windows for devices due to their lengthy testing process, with exact release dates sometimes not coming until shortly before the device is actually launched. So, for the Note 2, that list sadly gives us no new information, even though tech sites are incorrectly treating it like it does. It just means that it will be available sometime after today, which we already knew.

The price does make the HTC a little more interesting though. I agree that it would be odd for them to release it at $199 given its rumored specs, but the model number lines up with the 5", quad-core, 1080p DLX. I wouldn't be surprised if, given the Droid branding, Verizon does some aggressive marketing for it (including the lower price) and just kind of lets Samsung market the Note 2 on their own as has been the case with the S3.

Verizon Galaxy Note 2 Pre-Orders Starting at Midnight?

I've read that a few different places today too, but this part of the article is what really makes me question it:

"We have been informed by a reader who claims that multiple Verizon customer service representatives told him that pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will begin tonight at midnight."

We all know how reliable Verizon customer service reps are...

The international version also launched without the multi-window function, and it was added in with a software update at some point after launch. I'm going to guess that Samsung made the original versions of the software for the international version and the U.S. versions around the same time, and the length of time that the carrier approvals take in the U.S. prevented the update with the multi-window function from being included at launch.

Yeah I knew all that, my point is they got it rolled out to them quickly, we will get screwed on the other hand.

Ima take the home button out of mine and replace it with a cleaner stock looking one then walk n VZW and throw it at them and yell FU as I walk out, lol

I would not be so angry if it was just on the back. But wow the home button. Seriously vzw . oh well.
