Galaxy Note 2 waiting Lounge

Although I'm a long time Verizon customer, this is the first time I'm ordering a phone online and not going into the store. I have 2 questions. First, when I ordered, I was asked if I needed a sim card since the one in my current phone would not be compatible with the note 2 and I said yes. However I was not charged for one. Does Verizon just give it to you? Because I was not charged for one. And second, after I get the phone, when I'm ready to activate it, do I have to go to a store or just make a call? I guess one more question. Will I be able to set up the wifi and download apps and get it all set up before I activate? Thanks.

I've ordered online before and it's all very easy. There will be instructions with the phone to walk you through the set-up process. I pre-ordered the GN2 with the help of an online rep and she told me the SIM was no extra charge and that it is highly recommended, so I got that too. You can set-up everything online or on the phone. BE SURE to use the back-up app online to save all your contacts and info to reload to the new phone. Also, the app store will save all the apps you have downloadd, so it will be easy to reload them all again.

i had the galaxy s3 and i could barely make a call from my house i had to go back to motorola because of the sygnal strength. i am in a fringe area of verizon. i really want the note 2 because of screen size. i hope the reception gets better with the note 2 or that will be a deal breaker
