    Does doing this unroot and lock your phone?

    It will unroot, but will not lock. To lock, just go into the bootloader (same as where you flashed the image) and input "fastboot oem lock".

    It will typically wipe internal storage, on any device. Since that's all the Gnex has, yes, it will wipe anything you have saved on the phone, like pictures.
