Newbie - A Couple Of Questions?

I'm a new Fascinate user, and I have TWO questions:

1. My old phone would continue to notify you if missed a call through a series of sporadic beeps. I don't see anywhere on the Fascinate to do that though. Am I missing it?!
2. Is there a way in which one can change the amount of rings the phone does before it goes to Voice Mail?!
