    Just got mine... Been messing around with it for a couple of hours now! My contacts from Google did sync just fine as soon as I logged into Google in the "Phone Setup" wizard!

    Love the phone so far but I did come from a Samsung 1!!!!! My husband has a Droid1 and is trying to decide whether to go to Droid2 or Fascinate...

    I AM LOVING THIS PHONE!!!!

    I found that my contacts did end up syncing. All the facebook contacts were in there as well so that had me confused at first.

    The verizon rep in store tried to sell me the fascinate instead of the DX.They were pushy on selling me this phone.

    I have a D1 and a Fascinate and I've gotta say that I've not touched my D1 in 2 days and when I do...I sigh because it's heavy and just not as nice as the Fascinate. Even with running UD 8.0, the Fascinate is my favorite phone so far. I've got it rooted, no issues whatsoever and am patiently waiting for a custom ROM.

    It's OK for your Droid to be different. Just be supportive and reassuring and it will do just fine. It's when you or other people point at it or mock it for being different is when its' feelings get hurt. Just show it unconditional love regardless of its' differences and it will in turn reciprocate that love and loyalty.

    Get some HD videos on it then compare to droid X, then watch the droid x owner try to steal your phone
