Can someone give me a step by step process on how to root this phone?

Can't find a source that isn't outdated or confusing. A lot of sites have links that no longer work. I just want to root it to get rid of the bloatware and for ICS.

I still have my old fassy...its rooted and running ics...and its also at the bottom of a drawer. Lol. I don't remember how to root that old thing, but I thing I have a old screen shot on my computer of a step by step rooting process that you can use to get the a ics from I think. I know I found it on rootzwiki so you can look there and I'm gonna check by bookmarks and I'll check my computer this afternoon. K?
