All of a sudden I can't send texts?

    All of a sudden I can't send texts?

    if you have data switched off it will severely interfere with your ability to send and recieve messages. just keep it on at all times.

    Keep the data on, but call Verizon and let them know as well. I had the same problem, and it stemmed from inaccurate activation. When I activated the phone it put some sort of third party text block on my account- something no other Droid has ever done- and it would allow me to recieve texts but I could never send them. I had to call three times, and finally Best Buy replaced my phone and I haven't had the issue since.

    going into your settings > applications > manage apps > all > find SMS or Messaging and force stop it. they resend the txts.
