Froyo unlock pattern issue

After I updated my fascinate to froyo 2.2, my lock screen will mess up by quitting to follow my path. I have to restart it to fix it. Any reason y?

Follow these directions to altogether eliminate the unlock screen. I did, and I much prefer it.

I have this same problem. I've tried a couple different 2.2 ROMs and the same problem keeps happening. I'm slightly paranoid about security, so I use a fairly complex unlock pattern, but when the touchscreen will "skip" or momentarily stop following your path it's practically impossible to complete the pattern. Sometimes pressing the back button will help, sort of as a 'reset' but not always.

I've been trying to diagnose this, and it's just giving me a headache. Can anybody help us out?

If you can't get it resolved, there are apps in the market for hiding/protecting certain video and picture files from unwanted viewers.

Same problem here. Only have to power off the screen and turn the screen back on (instead of fully power down to restart) and it will be ok but it is annoying.

Any thoughts?
