Can the 4 Capacitive buttons stay illuminated?

At night it is difficult to find my 4 buttons. On my D1 they seem to stay slightly lit anytime the screen was on...

If there is a rooted fix let me know as I rooted this phone in less than 8 hours of getting it.

There is a fix out there however I'm not sure what its called. I know with the DJ05 update that we are supposed to get soon it is going to make those buttons tied with the backlight timer we have set for the screen.

Can't wait for that. Love the phone. But can see why the signal and gps are known to be bad. I want that update more than froyo!

Ya me too, froyo isn't a huge deal to me as long as we get this maintenance update soon

If your not big on flash and we don't need Move to SD, Froyo only offers a few tweaks. I will miss Chrome2phone though....
