About LinkBacksThis is nuts. 2.3 Gingerbread coming out yet this phone has still not received the 2.2 froyo update. I believe the other Droids for Verizon have the updates. Whats Going On?

12-14-2010 12:41 PMYea. If you're that concerned with updates you shouldn't buy a phone Verizon doesn't even announce. Verizon couldn't care less about the fascinate.
Though I don't see why people are so concerned with 2.2 anyway. The fascinate is a great device as is.

12-15-2010 10:26 AMIve used every rom out there for the D1 and the DInc. IMO none of them are as good as stock Fascinate. Rooted DJ05 with stupidfast kernal blows away any 2.2 rom I've ever used.

12-16-2010 01:27 PMI also think the stock 2.1 Fascinate ROM works really well, but we are starting to see applications that are not compatible or fully compatible with 2.1. That is my main concern with getting 2.2 or 2.3 released quickly.
