    I think you kinda answered your own question there. If it took as long as it did to get gb, our phones will be completely defunct by the time ics rolls out to most smart phones. Verizon would much rather have you buy a new phone than to upgrade your os for free. Just one joe shmo's opinion

    I would like to know that as well. Is it even close?
    Also, what is the best rooting method for the Charge? Should I just follow the directions in the "How to root your Charge" thread on this forum?

    I didn't mean to imply they were anything else. What I did imply (kinda awkwardly I guess) was that these themes were as close to ics the charge was gonna get. Can't vouch for them as I have not tried them. Just came across them while surfing

    Yes they are. No one is working FT on it, but they have it booting and WiFi works. Still having issues with radios and other stuff. But they were able to get it to call 911.

    The problems are in the RIL.
