    Droid Charge locked in "Landscape"

    (Im new to this forum so bear with me)
    I was wondering if someone could help me because my Charge is locked in landscape/horizontal mode.
    -Its nothing to do with the auto-rotation
    -i already took my phone into the Verizon store, and the lady who helped me was useless because she just told me "to restart it, take out sd card and battery, 4G card, call tech support or wipe the memory" in other words stuff i knew on my own.
    -i called tech and they fiddled around with and they to were clueless
    so seeing no other option i wiped the memory and that worked for about 8hours then it went back the next morning. Now it is locked, again, and the only other options i see are a hammer or buy a new one, both of which i don't want to do. So if anyone out there knows what's up with my home please tell me
