Best connection options?

Sometimes I don't get the best 4g coverage, especially when coming out of a known wifi spot like home or work.

I've tried reading some documentation but nothing is mentioned about this screen, found under Wireless & Networks:



Can someone explain what these settings do, there seems to be many places to toggle 4g on or off, I'm wondering what makes this section of options different.

Make sure setting is set to lte/cdma if you live in 4g area or close to one if not switch to cdma all of the time. If you are on the edge of a 4g area you may encounter issues while the phone goes from 3g to 4g. It has been better since gb upgrade but not perfect.

That is how I have it set, I'm in a decently covered area.

The update has improved things dramatically, however it does seem as if it can't make its kind up when toggling between wifi and data.

I was just wondering exactly what that top option does...other than drop my ota connection.
