Spotify problem?

Spotify(and I have noticed the internet in general) will never connect to the internet or if it does it takes 20. I have messed with some settings but nothing has worked. But yet it tells me I am offline and no internet connection. I am probably just going to probably chalk it up to this phone still being the biggest pos phone I have ever owned. It is a miracle I have not thrown this thing in the river.
