    SD card not being recognized.

Hello fellow DC owners. I have a question. When I reboot my phone, more often than not, the SD card is not read and thus all of the apps on the SD card are shown as not being installed. When this happens they are also missing from my market (except if they were purchased then it shows just that). The only fix for this that I've found is to remove the SD card reboot without it then reinstall it and reboot again. The unmount SD card option in the settings doesn't work at all. It hangs up. I have tried all of the repitable SD mounting Widgets I can find to no avail. For my launcher I am using GO Launcher and I love it.
If there is any help you can give I'd appreciate it.

You might try this: put the sdcard in a computer and copy card contents to the computer and then format the card and put your stuff back on it.

When you reformated the card, did you format it to FAT32?

Also, try this: Shut down the phone, remove sdcard, reboot phone with no sdcard, shutdown phone, insert sdcard and reboot.

Also, if that doesn't help and I really don't think it will, you might try reformating the sdcard in the phone.

If none of this works, you are going to need to try a different sdcard.

Yes I did reformat FAT32. And I did try your reinsertion process. The option to reformat SD card in the phone is not selectable yet unmount SD card is even though it didn't work( it force closes). Another funny thing, AppMonster Pro, ES FILE Manager, and Astro file manager all show the applications are there but the "scan SD card" menu option in AppMonster Pro hangs in a scanning loop.

Well, I've seen this kind of thing before where an apparently good card can not be read. Next step would be try a different sdcard. Just as a test try inserting any micro sdcard without regard to it's capacity. If your phone can read a different sdcard you'll have your answer. Do you have another card? If not, can you borrow one for a few minutes?

    Good luck.
