Cahrge Bluetooth volume setting?

I have a Charge and am using a Jawbone bluetooth headset. Every time I turn on the bluetooth function I have to set the volume (raise it quite a bit). Is there a way to have the volume default set to a higher level so at least I can hear the instructions from the Charge when I first turn on the bluetooth? IIRC, my Incredible did not have this issue, the volume remained the same as it was when I shut down the bluetooth.
