YouTube problems

So let's say I'm looking at Facebook or I get an email with a youtube link and I click on it. It takes me to that link but opening the youtube.com page, not the application, and then notifys me that it's not working or I can't see the video or something like that. I can't remember the exact error message at the moment. But if I were to open the application and find that same video, it'll play it just fine. The problem is, if I'm clicking at a link, I don't know what video it is and can't go into my app to find it. Make sense? I just need to know how to click on a link and have that video play. Must be user error but I can't figure it out.

i dont get links like that so im just firing out possibilities lol
did you try and long press on the vid and see what options come up
or look in settings when you have the msg open to see if anything there is helpfull

It takes me to the m.youtube.com site and then gives me the error 'Cannot play video' 'Sorry, this video cannot be played' with an ok button below it. When I long press it gives me that normal options "Open, open in new window, bookmark link, save link, share link, copy link url". When going into the 'settings' I can select mode giving me either Android or desktop in how the website will load and if I load using the conventional website, it'll play fine but when using the Android option, websites set up specifically to show on a phone, it doesn't work.

Thank you for looking at it. I figured it was something I did but can't find any setting changes or anything else that would fix it. I remember it used work just fine but it started with this error a few weeks ago so figured it was something I did even though I haven't messed with anything. It's starting to really annoy me since I can't see a lot of links that are sent my way.

if it used to work you could try going to settings/applications/manage and clear data on the you tube app.
it also could be the last update messed something up and you will have to wait for them to fix it.

I tried that as well as uninstalling the youtube updates with no change. I wasn't aware that there were any actual updates to the Charge itself.
