Well I tried it at home, I can get the app to show up on the tv, but once I try playing a video, it fails.

Every time a phone is rooted, an angel gets its wings.
Yes, straight from the phone to the tv. Just the NFL Mobile Main Menu displays. I can scroll around, but as soon as I click on a vid, the tv goes black (like it loses the signal) and I get the pop up message on my phone saying unable to display. If I unplug the HDMI cable, the video will play just fine.

Same exact issue here.... pretty bummed. the mirror works flawlessly for everything else, but as soon as you click on the video from the nfl menu, screen goes black indicating its loading, and then an error messagepops up. If i unplug the hdmi cable, the video will play on the bionic. gonna try the work around with the app described earlier in the thread. I also heard there was an app called "real hdmi", it was created for the X as well but I'll give that a shot as well.
In order for xternal display to work properly with nfl mobile i had to do the fowling
1. Plug in hdmi cable
2. Start xternal app.
3. Make sure it displays desktop on tv.
4. Launch nfl mobile
If nfl mobile is already launched before connecting cable, it will not work. It is a bit tricky, but i was able to get it to work.
^^^ Were you able to view any video from within the NFL app after doing that, or just the static information? Thanks!

Yes, I had video working. Had red zone streaming last week on my tv.
I just wish I could find a working nfl mobile 11 working for my crappy Ascend![]()
