    Gingerbread for Charge Speculation

    Now that HTC is releasing an official Gingerbread update for the Thunderbolt, does anyone think that one for the Charge could be far behind? By Labor day? Columbus day? Halloween? Anyone?

    I called verizon and they said by end august.
    ...from BB on Verizon to iPhone on AT&T and back to Verizon with the Samsung Droid Charge ...

    Yes, can't wait for Gingerbread.

    For those of you that have been a lot more brave than me and loaded the various Gingerbread leaks, has the issue with connectivity dropping been solved in those builds? Why I ask is that some people have said that the Baseband version changed. Wondering if that Baseband update fixed an issue that we've all be having as of late.

    I still occasionally get the data connection dropping, but its more of a non issue for me. I personally don't care if it happens. Worst case scenario I do a battery pull. I've been running p3droid s gingerbread leak (ep1f) for about a month now and I'll quite satisfied, especially with loading the newest version of swype. Love my phone

    GB is in final testing and up for vzw approval very soon, specific dates are not available.

    That's what one guy told me in Technical Support. He said that maybe by the end of August, if not beginning of October. Crap.
