Icon Meanings?

Just about on my way out of the house so no time to really do some research but what are the different 3G 4G icons and their meanings, for example: What does it mean when 1 arrow is red and green or both are white or when it says 1G. Bahhh if someone would be so kind as to learn me their meanings I would appreciate it. dancedroid


Oh and of course I'm talking about the icons on the Samsung Droid Charge.

when the arrows are colored it just means data is transferring, when white nothing is transferring and 1x is just a lower connection than 3g
