About LinkBacksIf I receive a text message and my phone is off, the time stamp on that message will be set to whatever time i turn on the phone the next morning.
How can I change it, so that time stamps will indicate the actual time that they were sent?
I searched online and found the "sms time fix" but that did not work for me.
Any suggestions? This is quite frustrating... I wonder if this occurs on all Android phones or just the Charge :-(

07-27-2011 06:49 PMyour phone stamps the msg when it gets it. i would think the only way to fix that is if the original time is forwarded from the server or if its embedded in the msg and someone knew how to extract it.

07-29-2011 04:37 AMIt's been this way for me with every phone I've had on Verizon. I don't know if it's the way VZW works or just general SMS, but I'm quite sure it isn't anything Android specific.
