4 days of use and a few problems

Or most likely the free phone you got was a refurb that already had issues. They may have told you they were giving you a new one but for a phone that sells for $299 it was probably a refurb.

That is also a possibility. Someone else online is having a similar problem to mine and it happened to them after updating a default verizon application. I did that earlier yesterday before hell broke loose.

I am SO GLAD someone else is having this issue! I thought I was going insane with mine. I also went to the store today and they are mailing me a new one (why can't they just give a new one then and there... the store was empty, not like anyone else would know).

I'm trying to think now if I updated the verizon software before or after everything started going nuts.... maybe that was it.
I can barely even use mine now. Every minute it pops up that something crashed. Oy, I can't wait for my replacement. (oh, and I bought my new, so it isn't a refurb thing)

I'm beginning to think it was the My Verizon Mobile app, Twitter, or Google Maps. Those are the last 3 apps I updated before my phone went awry. I'm leaning towards My Verizon Mobile due to the fact that I'm constantly notified of the new widget.

Well, I don't have Twitter, and I didn't see any update for Google Maps, so I'm going with Verizon App as the culprit.

Just talked to a really cool guy at Verizon for a good hour. We tried every method in the book and nothing worked. I'm getting a new one on Tuesday.

He came up with the idea that I may have downloaded an app that contained a virus or just clashed with another app on my phone and caused this catastrophe.
