    No internet connection

My wife's charge was on WiFi at home and when she left the 3g(no 4g in our area) never came on... I had her do airplane mode... Reboot... And even battery and sim pull... Still no data connection.. what could fix this?

im not sure how to fix that but i have a couple ? that may lead to an answer.

    1. are you sure the 3g service isnt out in your area?
    2. do you have the EE4 update?

if #2 is no, i can give you the file
if #2 is yes, unless anyone has another suggestion, i would flash stock ED1 or ED2 (either will do the same). then the phone will ota to EE4. it would be like a new phone.
another option, if you are on EE4, i could give you the file and you flash it again. maybe you got a bad install. EE4 has the newest official radio files.
the "leaked" EP1F gingerbread has newer radio files than EE4 if you want to go that route.

let me know what your thinking and ill try to guide you if you need it...

What part of Atlanta are you in? Just checked my 3G in Stone Mountain and it's working here.

i dont have any magical answer, re-flashing EE4 would be the least drastic imo, but personally i would start new with ED1 or 2..

    ee4 file ee4-update.zip
    md checksum: d718a85d8eb22f066b1f99532696e5ef

look on your sd card for a file called "update.zip", if its there delete it
download the above file and put it on your sd card, rename it to "update.zip" (no quotes)
    power off phone
hold vol up and home keys, then press and hold power key (all 3 at the same time)
when Samsung logo appears release power key only
within a few seconds you should see Stock Recovery screen, release all keys
use vol keys to move down to "install update.zip"
click on it using the home key
it may ask if you are sure, scroll to yes and enter

thats it, let it install and reboot..

the file is stock same as you already have and in no way voids warranty.
