Error when playing videos from the Gallery App.

One of the few things I've had issues with is video play back from the gallery.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it does.

This occurs with both the stock video player and Moboplayer.

I have screen shots of the errors I get. I haven't noticed any pattern about when which error shows up etc.

The videos I'm playing are in MP4 format.

So again the process I go through is to enter the Gallery App, go to an album, select a video and then I'll get one of the two errors.

I have never had either of the error messages and have yet to even record a video using this phone, but I had constant troubles with YouTube, Pandora, and Slacker. YouTube would be audio only, Pandora would just skip back to the station choice menu and Slacker would say something like "media player error, skipping to next song."

Anyway, while searching for a solution to the YouTube problem, I saw on another forum a suggestion to uninstall the official Twitter app. No one replied with a success or failure story but I just tried it and... voila! It works. I've got Pandora, Slacker, and YouTube back.

Also, if this works, and you miss twitter, just grab another free client like TweetDeck (which is owned by Twitter).

Thanks for the info. I actually found a similar suggestion over at androidforums.com.

The thing is, I've not had any problems with youtube.

But, I'm going to uninstall twitter now and see if this problem reoccurs.
