    Changing the default messaging app

    I had Handcent on my OG Droid (just upgraded last night) and loved it. How do I (if I can) get handcent to be the default messaging app on the charge? I know you can add the icon to the home screen, but then there is still stock "messaging" button on the bottom.

    Figured it out...

    apps-->edit/menu-->drag whichever app into the 4 quick key spots.

    well that guy is rude and obviously doesn't have a samsung charge and doesn't know what your talking about all I did was download a new home. I use launcher pro. what I wanna know is how I can change the puzzle piece 4 text messages on the lock screen to show up with handcent

    Thanks speeddemon! That has been the most frustrating thing about my Charge since I got it. Tried everything I could to figure it out. Who knew it was so easy?! A simple thing but you made my day!
