EE4 hotfix update being pushed out

The colored puzzles pieces stopped appearing for me as well once I installed Handcent SMS.

I'm gonna disable Handcent and see if the pieces return to the lock screen.

I got it pretty early in the morning. I can so far notice 2 things.. The signal bars are much more visible and crisp. Scrolling left/right home screens no longer lag. I guess we'll see what else.

after the update i have not been able to keep my text notifications on. im using hancent and i have a alert from zedge ringtones. the alert will work for maybe 10 min then it goes silent. ive tried a "stock" one and the same thing is happening... very disappointed here and im past my 2 week grace period

Just got the update this morning - haven't played with it too much since (it was about 10 mins ago)..

What was your q about the puzzle pieces? They're still there and look to be the same...

When you just want to unlock your phone, there's the gray puzzle piece to the left that unlocks it as you slide it right. When you get a text message, there's a different puzzle piece above (I think it's green) that you slide down to unlock the phone and read your text message. Then there's a different color puzzle piece if you get a phone call. Either after the update or after I downloaded Verizon's messenger, I only get the gray puzzle piece to the left.

Not a biggie, but I was just curious what others were seeing.

OK, the puzzle mystery has been solved. It was the Verizon messaging app that caused it. Once I deleted that app, I got distinctly different puzzle pieces depending on whether I was getting an incoming call or message. Weird.

it does seem a lot less laggier.. it's probably just my imagination though..

Unfortunately I'd agree addictedhacks. I'm still having issues with data in known 3G areas.
