The Settings>Sounds option is there. It just doesn't work. In the first 6 months of owning the Droid 2, this never happened.
Someone mentioned Sound Manager above. Is that an app or a Settings feature?

Don't know what phone/system you have, but there is no "battery notification" option on the stock Samsung Charge (at least not under Settings> Sound Settings). However, I have noticed that if you go to Sound Settings, you can silence the "Notifications." This will obviously silence all your other notifications too, but the ringer will still be available.

Thanks.
I think that will silence my notification tone.
But the problem is a lady in the middle of the night announcing "Your battery is full. Please unplug your phone." Very annoying. Have to have a good heart not to jump at that.
I'm pretty sure now that it is the app for battery saver.
Seriously...you have a womans voice say that? That would definitely be annoying. The only sound I have when the battery is charged is my selected notification sound (which is "DROID"). Maybe there is a way to change the option to not hear the womans voice, but another sound...like "silence?"

I know a way to turn it off- turn off your phone and get an alarm clock

sounds to me like you have an app installed for your battery tender. easiest thing is to uninstall it and put in a different one. or none at all. I have an app installed called Desk Clock. It has a night setting that turns on a night clock (subdued light) has alarm clock, plays my music and allows the battery to cjharge overnight. shuts off charger when fully charged. Only notification is a small buzz when charged.
