About LinkBacksJust got this phone I since I use the handcent sms app, I would like to replace the stock messaging icon at the bottom of the home screen. Is there a way to do this?

05-28-2011 12:02 PMJust long press the icon it'll bring up options on any launcher and you can change them to whatever you want and most launchers assuming you have an alternate one will even allow you to set custom icons

05-28-2011 05:42 PMNo dice, that was the first thing I tried. A long press just darkens the icon as if its just being pressed then activates the icon just as if you pressed it normally.

06-22-2011 05:17 PMGive Launcher Pro a try. Unless u really like Samsung's touchwiz interface, LP gives u way more customization and flexibility. I love it on my charge. Just food for thought
