Depends on what matters to you the most, performace or battery life. If you want performance then the TB is a no-brainer but if you want battery life and nicer screen, then the Charge is the way to go. Although if a LTE area, the battery will be poor for both phones.
Simply Stunning rooted OGD

Charge sux. Has a great display and HDMI but only 512 MB ram...cheap plastic...no led notifications...and touchwiz is laggy as hell on it..it gets quadrants of 950...bolt gets 1800 stock. Reboot is caused by an ota that was sent out a week ago. It is being fixed. If u are buying now it will likely not have the ota on it....and u won't experience reboot. I'd get the bolt and a new battery before the charge. Its your money and your decision though.

I'm with ya man. I'm itching for a 4g phone and have had my upgrade since January. I like the look of the TB but the functionality of the Charge.
I'm torn.
All the talk of TB reboots, running hot while just sitting in someones pocket, battery life and then the Charge issues: Cheap feel, low RAM, Touchwiz lag...
CALGON TAKE ME AWAY!
Well im also thinking about rooting it if I get one but I don't know a dam thing about it.and don't want to brick my phone.

I'm with ya on that too.
Is there a Rooting Smartphones For Dummies book out there?
With what I use the phone for, would rooting even be necessary?
I just want a phone to make calls, take pics once in a while and be available for me to waste time on, when I need it.
But then I start thinking, "If I root it, what ELSE can I do with it?!"
I need a straight jacket.
