Charge or Incredible 2?

Anyone have hands on experience with these phones? I'm really stuck here...I live in a more rural part of CO so I haven;t seen either of these in the flesh. I'm coming off of a droid original with launcher pro so this would be a new company either way and I've never used either companies skin. Works paying for it so money isn't the issue.

LTE is almost certainly not in my area and probably won't be for awhile.

the Incredible 2 seems to have better build quality...the Charge looks kinda cheap from photo's I've seen. I've also been told that Sense UI would probably bother me though since I've never used it and it's very in your face compared to stock android.

What do you guys think is the better phone?

Pretty similar in most areas. The question I'm asking myself is this: is the better screen and 4G worth the extra hundred bucks, and I'm leaning toward yes.

I would go with an Incredible 2 if you do not live in an area that will get 4g anytime soon. If you lived in a 4g area like I do, then I would get the Charge (that is what I just did). Both are excellent phones IMO.

My hesitation on the Charge is that it's build quality looks kind of cheap, (and it's a little bigger than I wanted) and I hear the call quality(warbles) and 3G reception isn't very good.

My hesitation on the Inc.2 is that I hear I'll hate sense but have never used it. I also hear it has some GPS problems.

I've never used Touch wiz or Sense...can you load Launcher Pro over top of either of those?

If you're not in a 4G area, I would go with the Incredible 2. Also the HTC phones are pretty simple to put a custom ROM on and OC. The Incredible 2 already clocks in on Quadrant at about 1400, so OC would make it really fast. Also, it's a solid build quality and looks pretty sweet.

Get the dinc 2 you will love sense and the phone good luck don't be fooled by the screen of the charge its the same phone as the fascinate... So I vote for u to get the dinc 2

I'm a huge HTC fan, but the Droid X2 is looking pretty sweet! I already got the Charge, bc we're getting 4G soon, but if we weren't getting 4G I'd get Inc2 or X2. Probably X2 with the qHD screen.

Well I did end up going with the Inc.2 and so far I'm liking it. For some reason I get almost double the 3G data speed with this than I did on my Droid 1. So I guess it pays off getting a well polished 3G device when your in a 3G only area? I really like the size..it's got a bigger screen than my Droid but I ended up with a thinner lighter phone and it just feels smaller while being bigger I don't know how I feel about all this preloaded junk though...I think there are more bundled apps on this phone than all the apps I downloaded in total on my Droid 1. I'm happy with it though...I'll get an LTE phone when the 2nd gen comes out.
