    Question @ Rooting D1 Version 2.2.3 Builid FRK76

Recently reverted rooted D1 back to Stock using the following thread: How To: Unroot the Motorola Droid | TheUnlockr.

My D1 then went thru about 3 consecutive OTA updates finally arriving at the above-mentioned version and build.

Began to follow the thread: Root Droid 1 - regardless of OS version in order to re-root.

Found dead links for both Recovery and Update files within thread.

Alot has changed. When I initially rooted my phone, Version 2.2 wasn't out and Gingerbread was being rumored. Now I read possible conflicts with rooting the D1 from Version 2.2. Do I need to reflash again and decline the OTA updates? If so, what files would I then use to move forward from there?

I have actually searched the forum prior to posting here. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find a thread that covers this particular situation and I'm really hoping someone could offer me a "Best Practice" for the situation I now find myself in. I realize I haven't been keeping up with how things have changed now more than ever.

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

If you use the RSD Lite to flash the SBF recovery here: [Recovery] RZR SPR-based *update.zips-battery charging-more* , then flash a rooted rom from here:Custom Roms , you'll be good to go.
