"beep beep" while on a call

Randomly today my Verizon Droid 2 Started going "beep beep" every 10 seconds or so while I'm on a call. I don't have any notifications unread, it isn't a low battery or call waiting. My text notifications also stopped working too (they are silent even though "Droid" is selected as the notification tone). I saw a few other posts when searching for this and neither seemed to have a concrete outcome. Is there one? Recently the phone told me to update Facebook & Pandora which I did. I'm uncertain if the problem occurred right after I did that, or not. Thanks for any help.
