    Deleted a text thread AS that person texted me

    So I was clearing out some texts, deleted this one thread and noticed a slight pause. This was due to an incoming text from the person who's thread I was clearing. Now I have this perpetual unread text in my notification bar/menu. If I select the unread text, it takes me to a blank text with no name, as if I clicked "new text". How can I get rid of this notification without just turning off notifications?

    I would try clearing the data in the app.

    Settings>>Applications>>Manage Applications>>Messaging>>Clear Data
