have a question that i really need answered :)

well i have had this problem before and no one could give me a answer for it...for some reason my droid 1 loves to backspace out of my facebook app and gps search for directions app....it dont make sense y on any other app it doesnt do this..i thought it was the phone and got verizon to send me a new one, but it didnt solve the problem...example is i will be looking at my friends or looking at the news feed on fb and on the maps i can be typing in directions and all the sudden it will just backspace out of whatever im doing to the previous page..it also does this when i am writing or replying to a fb message in the app as well...then i have to start my message all over from scratch...i thought it might be in the rom itself and i changed roms, i have wiped data and cleared cache, changed fb apps, etc..i just dont know what else to try....it really gets annoying..could it be something in my sd card doing this? i just dont have a idea but need help to figure it out to fix it...btw..i just downloaded the madden app yesterday and it did it on that as well..not actually when i was playing the game, but when i was changing my rostor, signing new players, etc

Hate to sound like Steve Jobs, but I think that it's caused by how you're holding the phone while typing. You are accidentally hitting something that is causing that. To test it, put the phone flat down on a table and type in your information without touching the phone other than the one key you need to press as you type.

    Good luck.

The 'holding the phone' theory is plausible.

I know I do it to myself from time to time. The soft buttons on the D1 tend to make it very easy to accidentally hit the 'back' button.

Well update...I did youlls suggestions and it still just does the same thing...I didn't touch anything or even have the keyboard open....I didn't think that was the problem, cause it happens all the time and I know I wouldn't make that mistake by hitting the back button that much anyway...but what else could it b e..I have tried everything
