    Alarm clock does not sound on 4.1.2

    Hi,

    I DO have the Alarms > Settings > Alarm in Silent Mode option checked, but when my alarm is in silent/vibrate mode, I don't hear an alarm anymore. This worked fine in 4.1.1.

    Any ideas?

    not sure what you mean you say it is in Alarm silent/ vibrate mode you should not hear it right?
    Do it all now you may not be able to do it later

    Alarm in siletn mode means that it will play even with the phone in silent mode.

    lrk, have you checked your alarm volume in the alarm settings. It has its own volume setting seperate from the phone.

    I have the same problem after updating to JB.

    Alarm volume, although separate, is locked to the ringer. So now If my phone is on Vibrate and/or silent the Alarm volume is automatically on silent along with Alerts and System.

    Extremely annoying because I need my alarm in the morning without random texts/calls coming in at the wrong time.

    Any ideas or solutions for this?
