Did anyone do a factory reset and if so, did it help?

I did the suggested fix but it's still not docking to my computer. I even rebooted the computer but no luck.

Any thoughts or suggestions to fix this problem?

What kind of issues are you having? Did you root? And did you have any apps disabled before updating?

I removed the Google Music app as was suggested. When I dock, the computer briefly recognizes the connection (several sounds and dialogue boxes show) but it's almost immediately disconnected...

I really need/want to dock soon to update, etc... any suggestions ?

I'm going to get back to you in a bit. But don't do any resets without enabling any apps you disabled. Mostly as a precautionary measure.

OK... I have no plans to reset (which is my "last ditch option" anyway) and look forward to a hearing a solution to this issue. Thanks.

Make sure you have the latest USB drivers.

Re: Need help... having issues ever since jellybean update.

Important lesson learned when doing a factory reset : enter your Google information after the backup is complete. Your contacts will still restored, but some stored settings from your current device and previously owned devices will not contaminate a pristine backup. Believe me this will avoid future issues. For instance. I was not able to resolve notification light functionality until I discovered this top, from this board I might add. Kenneth.

I did the update per the link, but that thread is about a year old and the update did not fix my issue. I ended up going to the Moto support website and reinstalling the Device Manager software and walla, it worked.

    Thanks for the help.
