Today.... now at 14% battery... 21 hours total (obviously included 9 hours sleep time)
Screen used 69%
Screen... now at 7 hours
Thought I would get much more battery life... did not use YouTube or Tune In
Radio, no videos, etc. Just email and websites.
Why would I go from 32 hours total, before the small update, after JB,
to 21 hours doing the same type of work/usage?
Not impressed with the battery life... my extended battery for the Rezound
(before the fatal ICS upgrade) gave better life.
MOTOROLA/GARGLE (Google choking) THIS IS EXACTY WHY SOME PREFER,
GASP, I-Phones... TOO DAMN MANY ISSUES WITH A DROIDS... always something!
My buddy has an I-phone 5...smooth, very fast, easy to use. WHAT IS THE
PROBLE? MANY REPORT THAT JB HAS DESTROYED THEIR MAXX HD...!
VERY DISAPPOINTED.
Could be that your phone isn't going into a deep sleep state. Have you tried Better Battery? It gives you a more detailed breakdown of what is using your battery and keeping you phone awake.
I'm still at a loss as to this "small update"
Please read the post above on this thread. This was a small security patch plus,
pushed to phone post JB.
I only have Power Amp, Tune-in Radio, and SwiftKey 3 downloaded. Nothing
else hogs the battery like the screen.
Just received a other replacement as this phone has screenshot issues,
sometimes it works, sometimes it does not.
Tried 3 different battery aps... no useful info... un installed all.
Thanks.
I have not received any updates since Jelly Bean.
Are you a Samsung troll sent to attack the good name of the Droid RAZR HD by spreading this misinformation? Like its been said, there has been no post jellybean update. The update you mention was pushed to the Maxx HD pre jellybean.
FIRST... Never accuse me of being a troll. I did make the mistake of thinking my phone shipped
with JB... ONLY ON 4.0.4. Now the JB UPDATE is waiting to be installed.
SOOOO... possibly JB was the cause of my battery and slowness issues and not the update?
Still does account for Verizon agreeing that the same small update caused problems with
some phones.
They also said a correct patch is being developed.
