email notifications

Since I have updated my phone I receive my email but no notifications. I have gone to 2 verizon stores and they can't figure it out and the notifications on my phone is on. Has any one else had this issue?

Had same issue Verizon tech told me download an app called aquamail no issues since

Had a similar issue with text messages. I reset the stock text messaging app's settings to the "out of the box" preferences and all is well. Try that and see if it works for you.

P.S. After the reset, I was able to tinker with the preferences again and the notifications still work fine, afterwards.

Are you referring to flashing light or sound?
